Everyone has a story. This one begins with a creme brulee torch and a roll of solder.
Join me for this technique-packed wearable book workshop. Using materials easily sourced at your local hardware and craft store, you will forge small relic-like book covers. You'll learn various techniques for adding content to your book, including one that allows you to print pages using collected leaves. Then you'll bind it all together into a tiny tome. We'll finish by turning your book into a head-turning piece of jewelry you'll be proud to wear!
Tools and Supplies

Jewelry pliers: round-nose, flat-nose, and a set of wire cutters
Students will have the option of emailing their own photos to me to be used in their covers before class for sizing and printing.
Kits will include all materials necessary to make a wearable book.
The workshop will be held in my Topsail Beach, NC, home studio, just steps away from our glorious, pristine beach.
I am taking just eight participants, so you'll have plenty of room and attention.
Accommodations and lunch are not included, but a list of nearby motels and restaurants will be provided after registration.
Cancellation Policy
You will receive a 50% refund if you cancel before April 15, 2022. After that date, there will be no refunds; however, you can transfer your seat to a qualified participant, and if we have a waiting list, we will refund your tuition when the seat is sold. If we have to cancel the workshop for any reason, all payments will be refunded.
